Mission and Vision

PBJ Connections believes all youth can succeed in life and relationships. Our equine assisted therapy offers at-risk youth the opportunity to grow emotionally and behaviorally while learning about the connections between themselves and others.

PBJ Connections:

  • Provides experiential learning and therapy programs in a safe and creative equine environment.
  • Develops and delivers programs independently and in partnership with a local college.
  • Forms cooperative partnerships with other public and private programs.
  • Commits to be a healthy, professional, innovative, and sustainable organization.

Staff Requirements

All staff, contractors, and volunteers who work with our clients are trained in the skills necessary to do their jobs. We follow strict policies to ensure the efficacy of our treatment and the safety of our clients. Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI&I) background checks are required for anyone working with clients.
