3:00 - 5:00
PATASKALA, OH (April 10, 2010):
PBJ Connections is offering equine-assisted group activities for 18-21 year old GLBTQI youth and their allies. These groups offer the opportunity for interactive learning about common challenges, frustrations and advantages unique to the GLBTQI community. Lead by Holly Jedlicka, MSW, LSW who offers the perspective of an experienced counselor and co-facilitated by area GLBT community leaders. Come join us!
Thanks to the financial support of the Legacy Fund, PBJ Connections can offer the UNITE! program free of charge to local GLBTQI college-aged youth. We believe that by bringing together the diversity of the GLBTQI population we will help build unity and strength in a fun and cooperative environment. Groups will be a combination of discussion and hands-on activities with horses. No horse experience is required to participate and people of all abilities are welcome.
Groups will be held in the Pataskala area from 3-5 PM on Saturdays and are FREE of charge. Delicious food provided by EggFast of Columbus will help to make this a great experience.. Each group will focus on a different topic, so come to those that interest you, or come to them all! Call 614-395-1395 or email info@pbjconnections.org for more information and directions. Pre-registration is easy and required.
