Dr. Jeff Reiswig
Jeff and his wife Julie have two grown sons. Jeff is an Equine Veterinarian with a focus on dentistry. When he's not working on horse teeth, he enjoys working in his vegetable garden and cooking and eating the homegrown food.
Jeff's parents divorced when he was 10 years old, giving him empathy for children of divided families. Jeff has been working with horses the majority of his life and has experienced their interaction with people.
In Jeff's words, "How many of us know a horse that acts up when ridden by an adult, but is kind and gentle when ridden by a child? Modern horses (much like dogs) have evolved with humans to such an extent that they can often recognize human emotions that we ignore. PBJ Connections makes use of the emotional intuition of the horse to help at-risk youth, many of whom have also been deeply affected by divorce."
