September Speaks
Hello everyone. My name is September and though I’m a very private horse, my people asked me to say a few words about the therapy work I’ve been doing.
I am happiest when I am teaching people and I know that the best way to teach someone is by doing exactly what they ask, whether that’s what they meant to ask or not. People are often not as exact in their communication as they like to think that they are, so it is one of my jobs to help them learn what they are saying with their body language and actions.
Since I’ve been teaching people for so long, my person Glenda asked me if I would mind doing some therapy sessions with the kids that come to PBJ Connections. I thought it sounded interesting, so I decided to try it. Sometimes it is the neatest thing. The people really seem to figure out what I’m telling them. Other times, I can tell they are not listening and this can really get me excited.
Anyway, that’s what it is like for me around here. I know that I’ll be living here forever, so I figure I might as well keep teaching people, as long as they keep listening.
